Dan Nirdlinger is a renowned lawyer in the technology space with significant corporate and transactional experience acting as in-house and outside counsel or a contract negotiator for software, IT hardware, telecommunications, and manufacturing companies, including SAP, Cisco, Sealed Air Corporation, and Tyco Telecommunications. Dan’s recent in-house experience includes working as the Global Assistant General Counsel for Concur Technologies and a Cybersecurity Regulatory Advisor for SAP’s CISO organization.
As a dual licensed attorney in the United States (Common Law) and Mexico (Civil Law), Dan holds a law degree from the UNAM Faculty of Law in Mexico City and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Columbia Law School. Dan is professionally proficient and bilingual in Spanish and English and has extensive work experience in the United States, Latin America, and Western Europe.
Dan has significant project experience in SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS product counseling, IP and technology licensing, Agentic AI, ML-LLM, data privacy, cybersecurity, data storage, cyber insurance, and network infrastructure, among other areas touching on web and mobile technologies. He has worked with regulated industry clients (health care and financial services), startups, and mid-size emerging companies, either privately held or supported through private equity or venture capital. Dan is a certified privacy professional in US data protection law with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), holding the CIPP-US certification. His additional experience includes internal compliance, auditing (SOC, ISO), supplier and vendor management, and building or augmenting legal operations within various organizations.
